Job summary

Diverse CG Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to design and implement scalable microservices in the payments domain. The role involves collaborating in a Scrum team and delivering backend solutions with Java, Spring, and modern databases.

Ideal candidates have strong Java/Spring expertise, English proficiency, and a track record of building distributed systems and APIs, with exposure to CI/CD practices and containerization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Java software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Fluent English; able to work in an international environment.

• Develop new services and solutions within the embedded banking service domain (Payments Service Area)
• Build and maintain Java-based microservices
• Contribute to distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications
• Collaborate within a newly created Scrum team
• Work closely with experienced team members to deliver backend solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java software development
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Practical experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL and/or Db2
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Ability to develop distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications
• Fluent spoken and written English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Maven and JUnit
• Understanding of Specification-Driven Development (SDD) and SDD frameworks
