Guardian Industries in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a European Compliance Specialist to deliver statutory compliance services across multiple European entities with diverse activities. The role operates on a hybrid schedule, four days in the office and one day from home, and offers cross-functional collaboration within Guardian and Koch networks.

The candidate should have a Master’s in accounting/finance, experience in local accounting in a multinational, strong Excel skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in local accounting in multinational company.
• Strong level of Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Own statutory compliance processes (audit process, local financial statements, CIT, local statistics etc.); continuously seek to optimize and bring efficiencies.
• Execute the work on engagements with external providers to fulfill the periodical reporting requirements: group and statutory audits, CIT/TP returns across multiple countries in Europe: Poland, Germany, UK, Luxembourg, Spain etc.
• Closely collaborate with other teams in finance group to support compliance related deliverables (financial statements, audit, tax).
• Execute the statutory compliance calendar for entities in your scope, ensure local filings are done within the legal deadlines (financial statements, audit, local taxes, statistics etc.).
• Practice due diligence, seek knowledge internally and externally in terms of statutory compliance practices.
• Partner with business and finance groups to execute the statutory compliance activities impacting other capabilities.
