Job summary

Guardian Glass in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a European Statutory and Tax Compliance Senior Manager to lead the EU statutory and tax compliance group across multiple entities. The role requires strategic oversight, cross-functional leadership, and collaboration with regional finance teams.

The position is based in Katowice with a hybrid work arrangement: four days in the office and one day working from home, enabling balanced collaboration and focused work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Proven experience in local accounting in multinational environment.
• Previous leadership/people management experience.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong Excel skills and technical proficiency in accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Regional Controller to execute the operational vision and strategy.
• Attract, retain and develop statutory compliance and tax accountants into core areas of responsibilities; lead the group.
• Lead cross-functional finance initiatives to optimize processes and service delivery.
• Oversee budgets of service engagements and statutory audits across multiple European countries.
• Own statutory compliance calendar and ensure deadlines for financial statements, audits and taxes are met.
• Coordinate training and knowledge sharing on statutory compliance regulations.
