Job summary

Guardian Glass seeks a European Compliance Specialist based in Katowice, Poland. The role is hybrid, four days in the office and one day from home, focusing on statutory compliance across European entities with mixed activities.

You will own local financial statements, audits, CIT, and statutory calendars, and work with various finance teams to drive efficient compliance processes while leveraging strong Excel and cross-country knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Experience in local accounting in multinational company is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability are essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Own statutory compliance processes across Europe including audits and local financial statements.
• Coordinate engagements with external providers for group and statutory audits and tax returns across multiple European countries.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to support financial statements, audits, and tax deliverables.
• Manage statutory compliance calendar and ensure filings are timely across entities.
• Develop and share best practices in statutory compliance and work with business units.

Guardian is looking for motivated European Compliance Specialist with a passion for statutory compliance and eager to advance into their career . This position is responsible for delivering statutory compliance services to multiple legal entities in Europe with mixed activities (manufacturing, distribution, service, holdings) .

This role has the opportunity cross-functionally work with diverse and experienced capabilities within Guardian and Koch in a mutually beneficial way to drive results for the company.

The role is based in Katowice, Poland and follows a hybrid working arrangement of four days per week in the office and one day working from home. Working models may vary on business needs.

What You Will Do

• Own statutory compliance processes ( audit process , local financial statements, CIT, local statistics etc.) ; continuously seek to optimize and bring efficiencies,
• Execute the work on engagements with external providers to fulfill the periodical reporting requirements : g roup and s tatutory audits, CIT/TP returns across multiple countries in Europe: Poland, Germany, UK, Luxembourg, Spain etc.,
• C losely collaborate with other teams in finance group (GL/P T P/OTC) to support compliance related deliverables ( financial statements, audit , tax ),
• Execute the statutory compliance calendar for entities in your scope , ensure local filings are done within the legal deadlines ( financial statements, audit, local taxes, statistics etc.),
• Practice due diligenc e, s eek knowledge internally and externally in terms of statutory compliance practices,
• Part n er with business and finance groups to execute the statutory compliance activities impacting other capabilities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Master ’s degree in accounting or finance,
• E xperience in local accounting in multinational comp any,
• Strong level of Excel skills,
• Excellent communication and presentation skills,
