Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc is seeking an European Procurement Lead to drive cross‑category sourcing programs across regions, delivering cost reductions and value. You will influence senior stakeholders, manage end‑to‑end sourcing, and deliver value through eSourcing initiatives.

The role requires strong analytical skills, English and Italian language proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, global environment within HSBC's procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a responsive and strategic service and delivery culture that strengthens how stakeholders and suppliers experience the European Procurement team.
• Support Global Category Management teams by embedding global category strategies and plans into the business.
• Achieve or exceed agreed savings targets across assigned sourcing projects and keep Global Category Management informed on local market conditions and emerging opportunities.
• Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing activities across multiple categories and geographies.
• Deliver incremental value through eSourcing activities including eAuctions.
• Identify and deliver post-contract value opportunities with business supplier managers and the local supply base aligned to Category Strategies.
• Provide solutions to complex purchasing, contractual, payment, travel and logistical issues to unblock and accelerate deals when needed.
• Demonstrate adherence to internal controls and relevant procedures including maintaining appropriate records and supporting timely implementation of audit points

The European Procurement Lead supports the European Procurement team in executing sourcing projects that deliver regional cost reduction and value delivery targets. The role helps create competitive advantage for HSBC through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation aligned to Category Strategies and Commodity plans. Working across multiple categories and geographies, the role applies sourcing expertise to deliver outcomes while mitigating commercial, contractual and operational risk and strengthening stakeholder and supplier relationships across the region.

What you’ll do

What we offer

The pay range for this role is 14 383 PLN – 18 000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
