Job summary

ProPharma, a European life sciences consulting leader, is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth across Europe. You will build executive relationships and lead large-scale enterprise sales in pharma, biotech, medical device, diagnostics and digital health.

You will develop strategic BD plans, mentor teams, and collaborate with leadership to expand client networks and revenue, while navigating regulatory and market access considerations across multiple European markets.

Qualifications

8+ years in business development, consulting sales, account management or strategic partnerships.
Minimum 5 years selling consulting or professional services to pharma/biotech/medical device or healthcare organisations.
Proven track record of revenue growth and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve ambitious growth objectives across Europe.
Identify, qualify, and pursue consulting opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, and digital health companies.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, industry events, referrals, partnerships, and targeted initiatives.
Lead end-to-end sales process including prospecting, solution development, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
Maintain executive-level relationships with CEOs, CMOs, CSOs, and other decision-makers across Europe.
Collaborate with leadership to develop tailored client solutions and market expansion programs.
