Job summary

Mars is seeking a Europe Statutory Transformation Lead to drive statutory reporting across European jurisdictions within a global SAP S/4HANA program. The role partners with Corporate Finance, Regional Controllers, Tax, IT, Shared Services, and System Integrators to deliver compliant reporting processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in statutory reporting, strong IFRS and local GAAP knowledge, and experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations and regulatory reporting technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in statutory reporting, controllership or external reporting.
• Strong knowledge of European statutory obligations and local GAAP.
• IFRS reporting and European regulatory requirements understanding.
• Experience with SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA transformations.
• Familiar with SAP DRC, ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting or similar tools.
• Experience with multi-country European deployments in a global template.

Responsibilities

• Lead Europe statutory reporting workstream in SAP S/4HANA design and deployment.
• Serve as SME for statutory reporting across European jurisdictions.
• Define/validate local GAAP, IFRS and statutory reporting needs.
• Ensure localization is balanced with global standardization.
• Collaborate with Controllership, R2R, Tax and IT to align requirements.
• Define reporting mappings, hierarchies, and legal entity setup.
• Lead testing, sign-off and governance for statutory compliance tools.
• Support deployment readiness, cutover, hypercare and stabilization.
• Coordinate with country finance teams for local compliance.
