Job summary

HSBC Krakow is seeking a senior leader to own Tax Reporting Operations within a regulated financial services environment. You will drive governance, risk management, and process improvements across VAT/CIT/WHT, partnering with Tax Advisory, Finance, Legal and regulators to deliver accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Tax Operations / Tax Reporting within a regulated environment.
• Deep understanding of EU tax reporting obligations and controls.
• Proven track record leading teams through change and transformation.
• Strong risk mindset with experience in controls, audits and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tax Reporting Operations: own operational delivery for VAT/CIT/WHT and other taxes.
• Strengthen risk and control environment with robust MI and issue management.
• Drive transformation through standardisation, automation and process simplification.
• Partner with Tax Advisory, Finance, Legal, Compliance, CIB, auditors and regulators as required.
• Build high-performing teams, succession planning and a culture of accountability.
