Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading Data Governance initiatives in large organizations.
• Strong grasp of Data Management principles and frameworks.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process modeling.
• Ability to document business processes clearly and concisely.
• Knowledge of metadata management concepts and practices.
• Understanding of business glossaries, data dictionaries and data products.
• Experience with data ownership and stewardship models.
• Knowledge of data classification and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience preparing documentation and conducting workshops.

Responsibilities

• Define and document Data Governance operating models and business processes.
• Design processes for managing business terms, metadata, data products and technical metadata.
• Establish frameworks for data ownership, domains and accountability.
• Develop data classification standards aligned with regulatory and security requirements.
• Bridge business knowledge with technical data assets.
• Document data lineage and impact analysis processes.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and target-state solutions.
• Support governance adoption in Knowledge Catalog platform.
• Prepare project, operational and governance documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer.
• Support organizational change and user adoption initiatives.
