Job summary

Xebia is seeking a data engineering professional to migrate and modernize data processing on Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on Oracle SQL/PLSQL migration to BigQuery using dbt, validating logic across platforms, and delivering scalable cloud data solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and data owners to ensure robust data processing, documentation, and ongoing optimization within an EU-region work setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery.
• Proven ability to migrate data processing logic to cloud.
• Experience with dbt and data transformation projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy Oracle SQL/PL/SQL processing to BigQuery and dbt.
• Validate business logic consistency between Oracle and GCP implementations.
• Develop, test, optimize, and maintain cloud data processing solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, data owners, and platform teams.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for solutions.
