Job summary

Molex, a global leader in connectors and interconnect components, seeks an experienced Sourcing and Procurement professional to lead the Outsourcing category with emphasis on Europe. You will develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings while ensuring supply continuity.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, support supplier selection, analytics, and reporting, and guide cross-functional teams across markets to achieve Molex goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience in procurement focused on direct spend.
• Experience in category management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Stamping, Molding, Connector & Cable Assembly supply bases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies with stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to drive creativity and global perspective.
• Define category procurement strategy aligned with Molex.
• Maintain PSL/AVL with internal stakeholders.
• Manage supplier evaluation, segmentation, and performance.
• Lead spend and savings analytics and reporting.
• Drive cost reductions and cost avoidance through analytics.
• Collaborate to ensure supply continuity and roadmaps.
• Manage SRM and change management across suppliers.
• Lead category projects like Value Engineering.
