Job summary

emagine is seeking an Equity Trading Analyst in Poland (Gdańsk area) for a hybrid role. You will translate business strategies into IT requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure traceability through development lifecycles.

The position requires strong IT/business analysis experience, English proficiency, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence. Banking domain knowledge and API/data-modelling skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT and/or business analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in API development, data mapping, and process modelling.
• Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and user interface prototyping.
• Familiarity with architecture diagrams, such as sequence diagrams.
• Solid technical knowledge for effective collaboration with developers.
• Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies.
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from various stakeholders, including architects and developers.
• Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for the IT team.
• Ensure requirements traceability during end-to-end development.
• Document requirements, including use cases, and focus on quality improvement.
• Support testers and developers in the team.
• Verify developed solutions through test results.
• Provide insights on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
