Job summary

Danaher, hosted by Cytiva in Krakow, seeks an entry-level SOC Analyst (Tier 1) for an initial 18‑month fixed-term contract with a strong extension outlook. The role blends remote and office work within a 24/7 schedule, including rotating day/night shifts and weekends.

You will monitor security events, triage alerts, perform initial investigations, and document findings in ticketing systems while supporting containment under guidance.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (phishing, malware, network threats).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, across multiple teams.
• Ability to follow processes and work in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts (phishing, malware, endpoint, identity, network).
• Perform initial investigation and enrichment of alerts using available tools and playbooks.
• Escalate incidents to higher Tiers following defined procedures.
• Document findings clearly and accurately in ticketing systems.
• Support incident response activities (containment actions under guidance).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes for escalations and investigations.
• Support Incident Response activities, including containment and eradication, with relevant teams.
