Job summary

Danaher, hosted by Cytiva in Krakow, seeks an entry-level SOC Analyst (Tier 1) for an initial 18‑month fixed-term contract with a strong extension outlook. The role blends remote and office work within a 24/7 schedule, including rotating day/night shifts and weekends.

You will monitor security events, triage alerts, perform initial investigations, and document findings in ticketing systems while supporting containment under guidance.

• Support incident response activities (containment actions under guidance).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes for escalations and investigations.
• Support Incident Response activities, including containment and eradication, with relevant teams.

The Security Operations Center Associate SOC Analyst (Tier 1) is responsible for monitoring, triaging, and escalating security events across a global enterprise environment.

This is an entry-level role focused on identifying potential threats, following established procedures, and supporting incident response activities in collaboration with senior analysts and specialized teams.

You will work closely with your shift lead and SOC leadership as part of the Danaher Threat Management Center.

This role operates on a 24/7 shift model (Panama schedule):

• 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 rotation)
• Rotating day and night shifts (monthly)
• Includes weekends and holidays
• Operates on a hybrid work model (combining remote and office-based shifts)

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experience working in a large, global, and complex enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with following domains: endpoint, identity, email, cloud or network security
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IPS, WAF, email security, cloud security, and/or threat intelligence platforms.
• Prior experience collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams in an operational setting (e.g., SOC, NOC, Incident Response, or Security Engineering).
