Nord Security is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence professional to lead research on online threats, scams, phishing, and emerging attack patterns. You will translate research into actionable protection enhancements for NordVPN Threat Protection and collaborate with data science, engineering, and marketing to shape security strategies, sharing insights publicly when appropriate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Threat Intelligence experience.
• Ability to share insights publicly (blogs, social media, talks).
• Deep understanding of the intelligence lifecycle: collection, enrichment, pivoting, dissemination.
• Ability to conduct research that leads to actionable protection plans with data-backed rationale.
• Curiosity and passion for cybersecurity and staying current on trends.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal subject-matter expert for Threat Intelligence and guide research direction.
• Translate research into new or improved protection vectors for the Threat Protection product.
• Collaborate with Marketing and PR to provide data-driven cybersecurity trend context.
• Share concise, evidence-based insights on social channels about emerging threats and campaigns.
• Contribute to scripting of short-form video explainers and participate on camera when needed.
• Partner with Data Science and Engineering to improve ML-based Threat Intelligence and validate impact with metrics.
• Recommend and onboard tools, data sources, and processes to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Mentor and coach junior researchers.
