Netflix is seeking an Engineering Director to lead and scale the Partner Enablement Apps engineering organization, based primarily in Warsaw, with global collaboration. The role focuses on long-term technical strategy, organizational health, and delivery excellence across multiple teams handling partner integrations and payments experiences.
You will drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor leaders, and ensure reliable, scalable systems while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture
Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
The Client and Partner Technologies (CPT) organization is chartered with enabling brilliant Netflix experiences on devices and building the foundational client systems and tools that make those experiences possible. Within CPT, the Partner Enablement Apps (PEA) group builds and evolves our suite of web applications that power the lifecycle of our device and payments partnerships.
We are seeking an Engineering Director to lead and scale the Partner Enablement Apps engineering organization. This group develops business-to-business applications that enable our device partners (TVs, streaming sticks, set-top boxes, and other "10-foot" devices) and operator partners (ISPs, telcos, TV and mobile carriers) to integrate with Netflix APIs, manage device and service lifecycles, and operate Partner Payment experiences (including bundling Netflix with their offerings). Our tools are used both by external partners and by Netflix teams to integrate, launch, operate, monitor, update, and retire partner experiences at scale.
In this role, you'll drive the long-term technical strategy, organizational health, and delivery excellence across multiple teams, ensuring our partner and internal experiences are reliable, intuitive, and ready for the next generation of integrations.
You will lead a growing engineering organization that is primarily based in Warsaw, Poland and includes team members in the United States, Brazil, Netherlands, and Taiwan. The organization currently consists of four domains and requires building strong relationships across time zones and fostering a cohesive, high-performing culture despite geographic distribution.
This is a highly collaborative role with partners across multiple time zones. While the cross-functional partners make every effort to accommodate time zone differences, effective collaboration requires meetings outside standard local working hours. The schedule is managed flexibly to balance business needs and personal schedule.
Travel to other organizational locations is expected several times per year to participate in leadership offsites, planning sessions, and strengthening cross-functional relationships.
Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
