Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior Controller to lead the Fixed-price and GMP contract stream within the EMEA Workplace Management controllership. You will partner with Client Finance teams and ensure accurate P&L reporting across multi-country contracts.

The role focuses on pre-signature risk, budgeting for guarantee structures, and SOX OTC controls, requiring strong US GAAP knowledge and excellent communication with senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of accounting or commercial finance experience in property management, facilities management, or professional services.
• Understanding of Fixed-price and GMP contract mechanics and related accounting implications.
• Experience with C2B toolkit configuration and rate setup for fixed-price contracts.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience in an international, multi-country environment.
• Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
• Master's degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/CPA/CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Signature Risk Review & CRB Review for Fixed-price and GMP contracts.
• CRB submission for contracts above threshold—covering baseline validation, glidepath achievability, liability cap adequacy, and vendor payment term risk.
• Prepare accounting briefings and CAFs for new or amended Fixed-price and GMP MSAs; support final sign-off.
• Participate in weekly pipeline reviews for contracts above the GAAP threshold; confirm go-live dates and obtain documentation.
• Guarantee, Cost Variance & P&L governance—monitor accuracy of client P&Ls and balance sheets.
• Track GMP guarantee positions and prepare corrective action recommendations.
• Review MFaR deferral/release positions and verify GL accounts and period alignment.
• Review balance sheet items and ARC postings; ensure proper accruals in E1.
