Job summary

EMBIQ sp. z o.o. in Lublin is seeking an embedded C/C++ firmware engineer to work on connected devices, from prototype to production, in a hybrid office setting.

You will collaborate with electronics and software teams, bring up hardware, implement BLE and device-to-cloud data flows, and test on real hardware.

The role demands 3+ years of commercial embedded experience, strong English, and the ability to read schematics and use lab tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial embedded C/C++ experience.
• Experience with microcontrollers and low-level peripherals.
• Experience with at least one RTOS or embedded Linux.
• Ability to read schematics and work with lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyser).
• Knowledge of Git and good programming practices.
• Very good English (B2+).
• Hybrid work from our office in Lublin with hardware prototypes.

In this position you will

• write and maintain C/C++ firmware for connected devices;
• bring up new hardware together with our electronics team, from prototype to production;
• implement wireless communication (e.g. BLE) and device-to-cloud data flows;
• prepare devices to collect data for monitoring and predictive maintenance;
• test and debug on real hardware;
• take part in technical decisions from concept to production.

We require

• at least 3 years of commercial experience in embedded C/C++;
• experience with microcontrollers and low-level peripherals;
• experience with at least one RTOS or embedded Linux;
• ability to read schematics and work with lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyser);
• knowledge of Git and good programming practices;
• very good English (B2+);
• hybrid work from our office in Lublin, where we work with hardware prototypes.
