Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an Embedded Architect to lead a strategic migration from Legacy Linux to NXP microcontrollers running Zephyr OS, in collaboration with a global home appliance client. You will design robust software architectures for M3uC-based systems, drive C++ development in RTOS, and ensure quality gates and documentation across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Architect.
• Full lifecycle experience from SoD to SoP and production readiness.
• Arc42 framework knowledge.
• Expert in RTOS-based development (Zephyr preferred).
• Embedded software know-how including NXP RW610 MCU.
• Experience with AI tools/technologies.
• Connectivity and UI development experience.
• Proficient in writing requirements and architectural documentation.
• Basic knowledge of security and encryption.
• iSAQB-F certification and advanced trainings (ARCEVAL, SOFT, IMPROVE) would be an advantage.
• Good command of English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust and scalable software solutions for embedded systems within the LaundryCare domain.
• Design and define the software architecture for M3uC-based systems, ensuring modularity and maintainability.
• Develop comprehensive architecture documentation, including design specifications, interface definitions, and technical guidelines.
• Drive the implementation of core software components using C++ in an RTOS environment.
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards and quality gates throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize software performance and resource utilization within embedded constraints.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure design integrity and alignment with strategic goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software architecture and embedded system integration.
