Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Electronics Sourcing & Supply Chain professional in Warsaw to lead procurement of electronic components and related hardware for fast-moving prototypes. You will translate design concepts into actionable sourcing plans and partner with ERP-enabled teams to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field, 5+ years of electronics sourcing experience, and strong understanding of PCB fabrication, BOMs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline.
• 5+ years of direct experience in electronics sourcing, component procurement, or engineering supply chain roles in fast-moving hardware or prototyping environments.
• Proficiency with semiconductors, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate early concepts, BOMs and mid-design changes into immediate sourcing actions.
• Oversee procurement of electronic components, semiconductor parts, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, RF parts, and custom mechanical prototypes.
• Provide engineers with real-time insight into lead times, alternatives, obsolescence risks, and quick-turn manufacturing availability.
• Partner with small-batch suppliers and quick-turn PCB/PCBA vendors; negotiate accelerated manufacturing slots and expedite shipments.
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to map supply risks and implement immediate workarounds.
