Job summary

Dover Corporation is seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to design, test, and optimize PCBAs and harnesses for laser systems in Kajetany, Poland. You will implement firmware for MCU-based devices, prepare BOMs, and collaborate with global teams to move concepts into production.

You will need an electronics engineering degree, hands-on PCB design skills, EMC troubleshooting ability, and proficiency with Altium Designer, C programming, and RTOS. Some travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics is required.
• Hands-on experience as Electronic Engineer with current technologies.
• Experience in EMC-compliant PCB design and troubleshooting.
• Excellent knowledge of EDA software, e.g. Altium Designer.
• Knowledge of Electronic Embedded Systems and C programming.
• RTOS familiarity would be a plus.
• Basic knowledge of FPGA designs; VHDL and Python are pluses.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques and good manual skills.
• Industrial integration and automation experience are nice to have.
• Good English skills for cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and test PCBAs and harnesses to provide power and control of laser systems.
• Implementation of firmware for MCU-based systems.
• Preparation of BOMs and project documentation.
• Cooperation with purchasing and planning departments to acquire components.
• Prototyping and assembly of components for tests.
• Identify root causes of issues during prototype assembly and propose solutions.
• Support manufacturing and sourcing teams and improve design processes.
