Job summary

SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) LV/MV Systems to support a major offshore wind project in Northern Europe. You will provide technical leadership for LV/MV electrical systems and coordinate interfaces across OSS, WTGs and inter-array cables.

The role offers collaboration in an international team, exposure to cutting-edge offshore wind developments, and travel as required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Solid experience with LV/MV electrical systems in offshore wind or large-scale infra.
  • Familiar with OSS, WTGs, inter-array cables and offshore practices.
  • Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise for LV/MV electrical systems across project phases.
  • Coordinate LV/MV system interfaces between OSS, WTGs, cables and auxiliary equipment.
  • Review electrical designs, single-line diagrams, cable layouts and specs.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements.
  • Support clarifications with contractors, certifications, FATs, SATs and commissioning.

We are currently seeking an experienced

Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) LV/MV Systems | OSS, WTG & Cables

to support a major offshore wind development project in Northern Europe.

As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise for low and medium voltage electrical systems throughout all project phases
  • Support the engineering, review and coordination of LV/MV systems for Offshore Substations (OSS), Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and inter-array cable systems
  • Review electrical designs, single-line diagrams, cable layouts, technical specifications and engineering documentation
  • Coordinate technical interfaces between substations, wind turbines, cable systems and auxiliary electrical equipment
  • Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, client specifications and project requirements
  • Coordinate technical clarifications with contractors, suppliers, certification bodies and project stakeholders, and support engineering reviews, FATs, SATs, commissioning activities, technical risk assessments, design optimisation, troubleshooting and multidisciplinary engineering coordination
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
  • Solid experience with LV/MV electrical systems within offshore wind, renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Good understanding of Offshore Substations (OSS), Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), inter-array cables and associated electrical systems
  • Experience reviewing engineering documentation and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering interfaces
  • Familiarity with relevant international electrical standards and offshore industry practices
  • Experience supporting commissioning, testing or manufacturing activities is considered an advantage
  • Fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous
