Job summary

Hatch in Katowice is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to design electrical installations for metals, mining and energy projects from our office in the city centre.

You will collaborate with international project teams, prepare schematics, take-offs and documentation, and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers.

location: Katowice (office-based work)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical installations for the metals, mining, and energy industries.
• Collaborate with engineers on the development of electrical engineering documentation in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Perform power flow calculations, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, and electrical equipment selection.
• Prepare equipment take-offs, cable schedules, and material lists.
• Manage project schedules, identify technical solutions, and apply industry best practices to deliver optimal solutions for clients.

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Ability to prepare and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering standards and regulations.
• English proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in industrial electrical design.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks, maintain project schedules, and ensure high-quality project documentation.
• Familiarity with Bentley, MicroStation, EPLAN, and ETAP software is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and experience coordinating or leading project teams.
• Experience working on international projects.
