Sweco is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for the Sweco Design Center Poland in Poznań. You will design electrical systems for buildings and industrial facilities, focusing on low-voltage distribution, lighting, and emergency power, and deliver documentation from calculations to tender drawings.

Join a multidisciplinary team collaborating with Sweden, Norway and Denmark, contributing to sustainable urban and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing and documenting electrical systems for buildings or industrial facilities.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage power distribution, lighting and emergency power.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Nice to have: FebDok, DIALux, Python, Dynamo, Power Automate; NEK 400/IEC familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Design electrical systems for buildings and industrial facilities, including low-voltage distribution, lighting, emergency power and backup systems.
• Prepare technical specifications, design calculations, drawings, tender documentation and construction documents.
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines and site personnel to ensure integrated design and timely project delivery.
• Ensure quality control of design calculations, drawings and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop practical, cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

• Design electrical systems for buildings and industrial facilities, including low-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency power and backup systems;
• Prepare technical specifications, design calculations, drawings, tender documentation and construction documents in accordance with applicable standards and regulations;
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines and site personnel to ensure integrated design, technical compliance and efficient project delivery;
• Ensure quality control of design calculations, drawings and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle;
• Develop practical, cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions.

What type of projects will you work with:
Our Electrical Engineering team is based in Oslo and consists of 23 engineers and consultants working alongside HVAC and Building Automation specialists. We deliver integrated solutions for public- and private-sector clients across residential, commercial, office, educational, healthcare, sports, cultural and public buildings, as well as mixed-use developments, industrial facilities, complex technical installations and critical infrastructure. Our work includes both new builds and renovations, with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline;
• 5+ years of experience in the design and documentation of electrical systems for buildings or industrial facilities;
• Good skills with Autodesk Revit;
• A strong understanding of low-voltage power distribution, lighting and emergency power systems;
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Good to have: knowledge of FebDok, DIALux, Python, Dynamo or Power Automate; familiarity with Norwegian and European standards, including NEK 400 and IEC standards.
