Zusammenfassung

Sweco Design Center Poland is seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to join our team. You will draft general arrangements, 3D models, and drawings, and lead BIM workflows using Revit on civil projects and digital twins.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years in BIM drafting/modelling, strong English communication, and knowledge of generative design or automation. Hybrid work is available for Poland-based staff.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of BIM drafting and modelling in engineering or construction.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiar with generative design or optimization.
• Very good English communication, written and spoken.
• Nice to have familiarity with parametric design or digital twin technologies.

The Sweco Design Center Poland operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing general arrangement drawings, 3D models, and detailed drawings of civil structures throughout all stages of the project;
• Collaborating on digital initiatives related to parametric design, task automation, and digital twin technologies;
• Understanding and interpreting design and engineering solutions based on sketches and outline/concept drawings;
• Leading the development and implementation of BIM processes tailored to construction projects;
• Identifying opportunities to improve BIM workflows and increase efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement improvements.

What type of project will you work with:

Both new construction and renovation projects within residential buildings, schools, daycare institutions, sports and cultural facilities, commercial buildings, and office buildings. Civil structures – concrete, steel, and timber construction.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in BIM drafting and modelling within the engineering or construction industry;
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit;
• Familiar with generative design or optimization techniques;
• Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken;
• Good to have: familiarity with parametric design, task automation, or digital twin technologies.
