Amaris Consulting, part of Mantu, is seeking an Electrical Diagnostics Consultant to support automotive engineering projects. You will diagnose electrical faults on-site, analyze failures, and implement corrective actions to improve vehicle reliability and reduce downtime.

The role requires extensive experience with automotive electrical systems and field diagnostics. Foreign travel is expected, and English is required with German a plus.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience with automotive electrical systems.
• Experience in field diagnostics and troubleshooting of in-service vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture, harnesses, ECUs, and interfaces.
• Ability to read and modify electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of CAN communication systems.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic tools, including Vector tools or similar systems.
• Experience with 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse root causes of electrical system failures during vehicle use.
• Take immediate technical action in vehicle breakdowns and escalation situations.
• Analyse faults related to electrical harnesses, controllers, ECUs, and interfaces.
• Coordinate technical actions with service, quality, and construction teams.
• Communicate technical findings to customers when required.
• Prepare technical reports and document failures after interventions.
• Develop and implement corrective actions using failure data to support design improvements.

Join Amaris Consulting as an

Join Amaris Consulting as an Electrical Diagnostics Consultant and contribute to high-impact automotive engineering projects. Within the Engineering scope, you will support clients directly on site by diagnosing electrical faults, analysing operational failures, and implementing corrective actions to improve vehicle reliability and reduce downtime.

Your missions

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults directly at customer sites on vehicles already in operation.
• Analyse root causes of electrical system failures occurring during vehicle use.
• Take immediate technical action in the event of vehicle breakdowns and situations requiring escalation.
• Analyse faults related to electrical harnesses, controllers, ECUs, and vehicle interfaces.
• Coordinate technical actions with service, quality, and construction teams.
• Communicate technical findings to customers when required.
• Prepare technical reports and document failures after each intervention.
• Develop and implement corrective actions using operational failure information to support design improvements.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with automotive electrical systems.
• Experience in field diagnostics and troubleshooting of in-service vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical architecture, electrical harnesses, ECUs, and interfaces.
• Ability to read and modify electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of CAN communication systems.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic tools, including Vector tools or similar diagnostic systems.
• Experience with systematic problem-solving methods, including 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• English fluent. German is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work under time pressure, readiness for frequent domestic and international business trips, and Category B driving license.
