Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks an experienced Construction Manager for a long-term freelance project in Gdańsk, Poland. The role covers full site management, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing electrical and MEP installation packages to ensure on-time, safe delivery.

Candidates should have major technical project experience, strong HSE and quality planning, and fluent English. Experience with European projects is preferred. Start date is upcoming with a long-term duration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Construction Manager on major technical projects.
• Strong electrical / power / industrial project background.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Good understanding of HSE, quality and construction planning.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities across site.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site teams.
• Oversee electrical and MEP installation packages.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate between construction, engineering and commissioning teams.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical or site-related issues.
• Manage client, contractor and subcontractor interfaces.
• Review method statements, RAMS and construction documentation.
• Support testing, completion, punch-list closeout and final handover.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior project management.
