Job summary

Applied Materials Korea is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environment, Health, and Safety support for the Samsung account. You will oversee a team of Safety Engineers, drive safety programs, and ensure compliant field operations across customer fab environments.

The role requires strong Korean and English communication, 10–15+ years in EHS or related fields, and experience with semiconductor customers. Domestic travel and collaboration with cross-functional teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Safety or a related engineering discipline; industrial safety license mandatory.
• 10–15+ years of experience in EHS, safety engineering, field safety, or high‑risk technical service.
• At least 3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Experience supporting Samsung or other major semiconductor customers preferred.
• Strong Korean and English communication skills with customer stakeholders and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS support for the Samsung account in field service and customer fab operations.
• Coach and develop Safety Engineers by setting priorities and guiding career growth.
• Partner with field teams, account management, and Samsung stakeholders to enable safe, compliant operations.
• Implement EHS programs and controls including risk assessment, incident investigations, and safety training.
• Review high‑risk work, identify hazards, define controls, and ensure safe work practices in customer fabs.
• Provide EHS assessments for projects and real estate initiatives; support risk mitigation.
• Lead or support incident investigations and root‑cause analysis; drive corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory and customer changes and translate into practical field guidance.
