Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join the Network Security Consultancy team in Kraków. You will review projects for network security controls, analyze threats, and collaborate with Cybersecurity Technology, Engineering, and Operations teams to strengthen resilience.

You will engage with stakeholders across Resilience Risk and Connectivity, continuously learn, and help drive improvements while complying with group and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of network design, firewall, IDPS, content filtering, load balancing, DDoS, NAC, WAF, network segmentation technologies.
• Good understanding of network security threats and risks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with technical leaders and various layers of management.
• Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries.
• Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others.
• Proficient with Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong customer focus with a drive to deliver standards of service to internal clients at least equivalent to external providers.
• Able to work with many simultaneous tasks in a pressurized, time-sensitive environment.
• Able to positively challenge others without having authority or seniority over them.

Responsibilities

• Review business and IT projects to ensure network security control requirements are met.
• Identify opportunities to improve network security posture based on current controls and tech.
• Monitor and analyze network security threats and risks to propose solutions.
• Build relationships across Cybersecurity teams and with key stakeholders.
• Continuously learn and share knowledge with team members.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
