Job summary

STEELGATE LLC seeks an IT Asset Manager (Associate) to oversee DoD IT asset management, inventory control, and lifecycle activities for enterprise IT infrastructure in Poznan. Responsibilities include governance, warranty tracking, and software license compliance, with DoD-specific certifications preferred.

The role requires DoD property book expertise, experience with GCSS-A or similar systems, and a background in asset accountability. Excellent reporting and training skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of related experience or Associate’s degree plus seven years of related experience.
• Experience with GCSS-A and other military inventory control software is required.
• DoD Baseline Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE (IAT Level II) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage DoD property book requirements for enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Develop, review, and maintain IT asset management procedures and system requirements.
• Account for IT hardware and software assets, including inventory control, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate life cycle replacement activities, ensuring timely refresh and disposal.
• Track warranties and manage software license issuance and compliance reporting.
• Train staff and customers on IT asset management procedures and supporting applications.
• Conduct internal audits on IT property accountability and asset management.
• Develop corrective action plans to address audit findings and process gaps.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
• Provide weekly and monthly status reports documenting work performed.
