Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals, a global leader in energy and metals, seeks a Head of Development for the M Renewables team in Warsaw, Poland. This executive will oversee renewable energy project development from concept to commissioning, manage pipelines, secure permits and lead cross‑functional teams to expand the RES portfolio.

Requirements: a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science and Business Management or related fields; 10+ years in renewable project development; 5+

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy project development for large-scale assets.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with Engineering, Construction and Legal teams.
• Proven track record in permits, land leases, and RTB milestones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for renewable energy project development.
• Develop and lead the development team.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in renewables.
• Supervise the project pipeline to achieve RTB status.
• Participate in M&A transactions for project sales/acquisitions.
• Coordinate with planning consultants and grid teams for permits and connections.
• Prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
