Job summary

Takeda in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Director-level clinical data science leader and people manager within Data and Quantitative Sciences. You will shape strategy, guide delivery, and readiness for regulatory submissions across assigned studies and assets.

You will build and mentor a team of clinical data scientists, set priorities, ensure rigorous analyses, and partner across regulatory, clinical, pharmacovigilance, and data management functions to produce submission-ready insights.

Qualifications

• PhD in statistics, biostatistics, data science, epidemiology, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or MSc with 12+ years.
• Experience influencing cross-functional decisions in clinical development and submissions.
• Experience contributing to regulatory submissions and inspection readiness across multiple authorities.

Responsibilities

• Set data science direction and delivery priorities for studies and portfolios.
• Provide people leadership, coaching, and career development for the team.
• Build team capability and ensure reproducible analytics practices.
• Oversee resource planning, timelines, and risk mitigation for high-quality outputs.
