Job summary

Takeda in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Director-level clinical data science leader and people manager. You will shape strategy, enable high-quality delivery, and drive submission readiness across studies and assets.

You will lead a team of clinical data scientists and collaborate across Clinical, Regulatory, and Data Management to ensure evidence-based decisions and robust data products. In this role, you will oversee analytics strategy, AI/ML approaches, and compliant data standards for

Qualifications

PhD/MD in statistics, biostatistics, data science, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or MS with 12+ years.
Extensive clinical development experience with cross-functional influence.
Proven regulatory submissions & health authority interaction experience.
Prior people management or formal leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Set clinical data science direction and priorities for studies and portfolios.
Provide people leadership and talent development for the team.
Mentor and develop clinicians and data scientists; promote reproducible analytics.
Oversee resource planning, risk mitigation, and timely outputs.
Lead design/interpretation of quantitative analyses using diverse data sources.
Define model-ready datasets and data governance for submissions.
Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure submission-readiness.
