Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent advanced scientific degree.
• 10+ years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Strong oncology expertise with knowledge of Polish clinical practice.
• Proven experience leading oncology product launches.
• Track record of medical leadership at country level.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the local Medical Affairs strategy across the oncology portfolio.
• Lead medical leadership within the Poland Leadership Team and shape strategic decisions.
• Build relationships with KOLs, oncology networks, academia and societies.
• Lead scientific exchange activities, advisory boards and congress engagements.
• Drive launch readiness and lifecycle support for products.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial and Regulatory teams.
• Support evidence generation, publications and medical communications.
• Develop the local Medical Affairs organization, including Medical Advisors and MSLs.
• Ensure activities comply with regulations and internal standards.

For one of the most exciting biotechnology companies in the world, we are seeking an experienced Director Medical Affairs (m/f/d) to lead the medical strategy for a landmark launch in Poland and play a key role in preparing and supporting future oncology launches.

Your responsibilities

• Define and execute the local Medical Affairs strategy across the oncology portfolio
• Serve as the medical leader within the Poland Leadership Team and represent the medical perspective in strategic decision-making
• Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, oncology networks, academic institutions and scientific societies
• Lead scientific exchange activities, advisory boards, congress engagement and external medical partnerships
• Drive medical launch readiness and support product launches from pre-launch through lifecycle management
• Collaborate closely with Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial and Regulatory teams
• Support evidence generation activities, scientific communications and publication strategies
• Build and develop the local Medical Affairs organization, including future Medical Advisors and MSLs
• Ensure all medical activities are executed in compliance with local regulations and company standard S

Your profile

• MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent advanced scientific degree
• 10+ years of Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Strong oncology expertise and a deep understanding of clinical practice in Poland
• Proven experience supporting oncology product launches
• Track record of medical leadership at country level
• Strong KOL network and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Experience in a biotech and/or build-out environment is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing organization
