Job summary

Takeda in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Director-level clinical data science leader to steer strategy, deliver high-quality analyses, and enable submission readiness across studies and assets. You will lead a team of clinical data scientists and matrixed contributors, shaping data-driven decisions for regulatory interactions and patient-focused outcomes.

You will guide advanced analytics, AI/ML methods, and data standards, partnering across Clinical, Regulatory, and data management teams to ensure

Qualifications

PhD in statistics, biostatistics, data science, or related field with 8+ years experience; or MS with 12+ years experience.
Experience influencing cross-functional decisions at study, asset, or portfolio level.
People management experience including coaching and talent development.

Responsibilities

Set clinical data science direction and delivery priorities for studies and assets.
Provide people leadership for direct reports and matrixed contributors.
Build team capability through mentoring and reproducible analytics practices.
Oversee resource planning and delivery across the portfolio, balancing priorities and risks.
Lead design and interpretation of quantitative analyses across trial data, biomarkers, and external data.
Define expectations for model-ready datasets and analytics-ready data flows.
