Job summary

Lyten, Inc. is hiring for a DevOps/SecOps engineer to drive secure cloud infrastructure, automation, and compliance across EU and global operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, security controls in pipelines, and coordinating with Security Operations. You will work across teams to embed SBOM generation, vendor security reviews, and CRA/NIS2/ISO27001 alignment while developing a secondary specialty within the first year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SecOps or Security Engineering role.
• Experience with Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to write/read Bash and Go code.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS).
• Security awareness including OWASP risks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Embed security controls in CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Collaborate with Security Operations to monitor threats.
• Support EU CRA compliance obligations like SBOM generation and vendor vetting.
• Hands-on technical work with cross-team collaboration, documentation and learning.
• Aim to become proficient in a secondary specialty within 12 months while remaining core contributor.
