Job summary

Nigel Frank International is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology organisation based in Cracow. This hands-on role focuses on Azure cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure automation and platform ownership, collaborating with engineering teams to enhance CI/CD, Kubernetes on AKS, and operational reliability.

You will own end-to-end projects from design through maintenance, contribute to DevOps standards, and pursue AI-driven automation opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Operations or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code skills.
• Commercial experience with Kubernetes and AKS.
• Excellent monitoring, troubleshooting and production operations.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure tooling.
• Manage Azure infrastructure and cloud operations, including security, policies and governance.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Support and expand Kubernetes workloads on AKS.
• Improve monitoring, reliability, troubleshooting and production support processes.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes, including opportunities to leverage AI-driven automation.
• Work closely with developers on deployments, platform improvements and technical issues.
• Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from design and implementation through to ongoing maintenance.
• Contribute to the evolution of DevOps and cloud engineering standards.

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology organisation developing a SaaS platform, based in Cracow.

This is a hands-on role combining Azure cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure automation and platform ownership. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes environments and operational reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure tooling
• Manage Azure infrastructure and cloud operations, including security, policies and governance
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support and expand Kubernetes workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations or Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Practical experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code skills
• Commercial experience with Kubernetes and AKS
• Strong operational mindset, with experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and production environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a broad, fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Experience working with .NET environments
• Exposure to AI automation or AI-enabled engineering tools
• Experience supporting cloud migration projects
• Experience in a smaller or rapidly growing technology environment
