Job summary

Wipro Limited in Kraków, Poland, is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and automate modern CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions.

The role emphasizes Python development, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud, with hybrid work supporting 3 days in the office. You will collaborate across teams to improve reliability and deployment automation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering.

• Strong Python programming and automation skills.
• Terraform, Ansible, and IaC experience mandatory.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration knowledge.

• Monitoring/observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.
• DevSecOps practices and secure release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning.
• Build automation tools with Python to streamline deployments and operations.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
• Manage Azure Cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with dev, QA, and security teams to automate deployments and releases.
• Embed security checks and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

Key Requirements

Strong experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering.

Hands-on expertise in GitLab CI/CD Pipelines and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.

Strong proficiency in Python programming and automation (Mandatory).

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Mandatory).

• Administer and support Azure Cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including performance tuning, patching, and operational support.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to automate application deployment, release management, and operational processes.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices by embedding security controls, compliance checks, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive continuous improvement of DevOps and Platform Engineering practices, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across environments.
