DevOps Engineer: Kubernetes & CI/CD Automation Lead

Job summary

Sigma Software is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a growing team of over 30 specialists in Poland. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker/Kubernetes environments, and enhance security and observability across multiple projects.

You’ll collaborate with development teams, participate in incident response, and drive continuous improvement with modern tooling and best practices. Excellent ownership and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Good knowledge of YAML pipelines, reusable templates, approval gates, and Azure Repos governance.
• Experience managing Linux and Windows build agents and Azure Artifacts feeds.
• Practical experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills with Bash and Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and application security principles.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management solutions.
• Experience managing TLS certificates and secure infrastructure configurations.
• Understanding of least privilege, network segmentation, and isolated environments.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems and participating in incident response.
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Responsibilities

• Participate in infrastructure and environment architecture planning.
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Build and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based environments.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production infrastructure, networking, and application delivery issues.
• Support and maintain existing environments.
• Implement infrastructure security best practices, secrets management, and access control.
• Collaborate closely with development teams on infrastructure-related topics.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and recommend new technologies and practices.
