Job summary

Xperi Inc. ищет опытного Linux‑системного администратора/инженера для поддержки серверной инфраструктуры: on‑premises и частично AWS, развёртывания и поддержка CI/CD процессов, автоматизация рутинных задач.

Основные задачи: настройка и обслуживание Docker и Kubernetes, внедрение CI/CD (Jenkins, Gerrit, GitHub Actions), инфраструктура как код (Salt, Ansible, Terraform), скрипты на Python/Bash/G и мониторинг (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana). Требования: 4+ года опыта, хороший английский.

Qualifications

• 4+ года опыта работы Linux‑системным администратором/инженером.
• Опыт работы с Docker и Kubernetes.
• Опыт CI/CD: Jenkins, Gerrit, Zuul или GitHub Actions.

• IaC: Salt, Ansible, Terraform; Git.

Responsibilities

Задачи:

• Install and maintain server, network, storage and build infrastructure, primarily on-premises (some AWS).
• Implement CI / CD pipelines.
• Update scripts and use configuration management tools to automate tasks.
• Respond to monitoring alerts to provide coverage of critical issues.
• Prioritize and execute project work to help achieve team goals.
• Ensure the security of managed systems and related data.
• Collaborate with other engineers to improve the product, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth software releases.
• Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant technology, equipment, and systems.
• Produce and maintain clear and thorough technical documentation as it pertains to operating procedures, change management, inventories, etc.
• Explore and adopt AI-assisted engineering practices (AI coding assistants, agent-based automation) to improve build infrastructure and CI/CD tooling.

Требования:

• 4+ years of experience as a Linux system administrator/engineer, experience with various Linux distributions.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gerrit, Zuul, GitHub Actions).
• Experience in scripting and/or programming (Python, Bash, G).
• Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (Salt, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with revision control utilities (Git).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Icinga).
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up scripting, infrastructure-as-code and troubleshooting work.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks from a variety of sources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
