Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms
• Proficient in provisioning infrastructure and managing configurations with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation
• Strong knowledge of Data lake services on AWS (Glue, Athena)
• Linux experience with Bash/Python/Perl scripting and multiple distributions
• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Kafka knowledge is a plus
• Willingness to coach junior teammates
• Excellent written and verbal English communications
• Customer-centric mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to deliver fast results with simple solutions

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters with code-first infrastructure (IaC)
• Collaborate with teams to identify pain points in the platform
• Develop new tools and frameworks for data platforms
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure with Prometheus and Grafana
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance
• Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates
