Job summary

Shiji Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Katowice to design and build scalable cloud infrastructure. You will manage Kubernetes deployments, Terraform infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/Jenkins, while ensuring security and reliability across the platform.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. You will mentor peers, adopt an Everything as Code mindset, and work with AWS services and Docker to support our Daylight PMS ecosystem and related hospitality software

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in AWS and Kubernetes.
Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in Terraform.
Experience in GNU/Linux environments.
Experience with CI/CD processes using Jenkins or GitLab.
Openness to new technologies and paradigms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Co-deciding the direction of technological development for the team.
Designing the cloud infrastructure (including complex solutions using Kubernetes).
Building the infrastructure itself.
Ensuring the security of the infrastructure.
Mentoring less experienced colleagues (technically and non-technically).
