Job summary

Shiji Group is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to extend and maintain Daylight PMS infrastructure across AWS, ensuring high availability and scalable deployments for hotel, retail and hospitality solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement IaC, deploy microservices, and optimize cloud workloads.

The role requires 3+ years in similar IT positions, strong Linux and bash scripting, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year experience in similar position and minimum 5 years of IT industry.
• Good experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch)
• Good experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience in implementing IaC using Terraform
• Experience with AWS networking and security
• Experience with shell scripting (bash and/or PowerShell)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required
• Proactive attitude and continuous improvement

• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to understand their needs and provide operational support.
• Environment Management: Maintain and monitor application environments across different AWS regions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Infrastructure Updates: Implement and manage infrastructure changes and updates using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments using tools like GitLab CI.
• Incident Response: Actively participate in incident management processes and ensure quick resolution of operational issues.
