Job summary

Aviva is seeking an experienced DevOps & Architecture Manager to lead a team of DevOps Engineers and Solution Architects at the Aviva Services Excellence Centre in Warsaw. You will drive DevOps excellence, guide cloud-native design, and collaborate with international teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic direction, and hands-on guidance across Agile environments, with a focus on modern cloud platforms and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading technical teams in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Software Development or Architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices and modern software engineering.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure Kubernetes (EKS) is a plus.

What will you be doing?

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams within DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Software Development, or Architecture
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices, and modern software engineering
• Experience with the following technologies will be plus: AWS and/or Azure Kubernetes (EKS)
• Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Helm Terraform, Packer Ansible, Puppet Bash and/or PowerShell
• Knowledge of modern architectural patterns and cloud-native solutions
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional, and multinational environments
