Job summary

Enery, a growing independent renewable energy provider, seeks a Senior Renewable Project Manager in Poland to drive development of PV, BESS, and data center projects from early-stage opportunities to Ready-to-Build. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, Project Management or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant renewable energy or infrastructure project development experience.
  • Understanding of project development lifecycle including permitting and grid connection.
  • Experience developing or acquiring renewable energy projects in Poland.
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned projects and drive development workstreams through milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned projects and development workstreams, driving them proactively from opportunity identification through key development milestones and internal investment decisions.
  • Identify and evaluate renewable energy project opportunities, with a primary focus on Data Center developments and PV+BESS projects, including greenfield, partnership, and acquisition opportunities.
  • Support the origination and acquisition of renewable energy projects by performing preliminary technical, permitting, and commercial assessments.
  • Coordinate the development of PV, BESS, Wind and Data Center projects from early-stage development through to Ready-to-Build (RtB).
  • Coordinate external developers, technical advisors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of development activities.
  • Coordinate technical, environmental, permitting, and commercial due diligence processes for project acquisitions and development opportunities.
  • Review technical documentation, grid connection conditions, project layouts, development assumptions, and engineering solutions to support project evaluation and decision-making.
  • Participate in technical, constructability, and commercial assessments of new development opportunities.
  • Support site selection, technical feasibility studies, and project optimisation to improve project value and bankability.
  • Identify and elevate technical, permitting, commercial, and execution risks during the development phase, supporting the implementation of mitigation measures.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion of permitting activities, technical studies, land agreements, and other development workstreams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Grid, Procurement, Construction, and Commercial teams to ensure effective coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support technical and commercial due diligence processes for project financing, acquisitions, and divestments.
  • Ensure project activities comply with applicable regulations, company standards, and internal development procedures.
  • Help establish and continuously improve development processes, project controls, reporting tools, and external partner networks suitable for a scaling platform.
  • Prepare project reports, development updates, and technical recommendations for internal stakeholders and management.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, Project Management or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy or infrastructure project development, ideally with exposure to PV, BESS, onshore wind, data centres, or grid-connected infrastructure.
  • Sound understanding of project development lifecycle, including permitting, grid connection, land acquisition, and stakeholder management.
  • Direct experience in developing or acquiring renewable energy projects in Poland, including practical familiarity with local permitting, grid, land, and regulatory processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary cross-border internal teams.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with landowners, developers, advisors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Polish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, or project management tools is an advantage.
  • Category B driving licence and willingness to travel within Poland.
