We are an independent renewable energy provider dedicated to delivering reliable, affordable, and long-term green energy to our customers. With a diversified green fleet currently generating 766 GWh of clean electricity from 566 MW of installed capacity, enough to power 283,400 households, Enery is at the forefront of driving Central and Eastern Europe’s transition to sustainable energy. Present across 10 countries in Central Eastern Europe our reach reflects our commitment to making a meaningful climate impact across the region.

But we’re more than just energy and infrastructure. With a diverse, multidisciplinary team representing over 30 nationalities, we value transparency, ownership, and continuous learning. We move fast, collaborate across disciplines, and celebrate wins, big and small, together.

At Enery, ESG isn’t a checkbox. It’s embedded into every decision we make, from project development and construction to long-term operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for Polish renewable energy acquisitions, joint ventures and development partnerships, including project cash flows, valuation, financing, return analysis and scenario testing.
  • Own the analytical models for contemplated transactions, ensuring that technical, commercial, financing and ESG due diligence findings are accurately reflected in valuation and investment returns.
  • Analyse the key value drivers and risks of Polish solar PV, wind and BESS opportunities, including grid connection, permitting, land rights, construction readiness and route to market.
  • Support the analysis of BESS revenue and financing structures, including capacity market revenues, merchant exposure and optimisation assumptions.
  • Translate due diligence findings into valuation adjustments, sensitivities and appropriate transaction protections.
  • Manage due diligence processes and data rooms, coordinate internal and external advisers, and ensure key issues are clearly tracked, assessed and escalated.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, valuation summaries and supporting analysis for senior decision makers.
  • Conduct Polish market screening, comparable transaction analysis and pipeline tracking and prioritisation.
  • Support the review of transaction documentation alongside M&A VPs and Enery’s legal, finance and development teams.
  • Work closely with the Group M&A team located in Vienna, providing detailed local market insight and analytical support to enable informed investment decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of standardised models, templates and reporting tools.
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • Approximately 3-4 years of relevant experience, including at least two years directly focused on Polish renewable energy transactions or projects.
  • Relevant experience gained at a renewable energy developer, IPP, utility, infrastructure investor, investment bank, energy-focused advisory firm, transaction services team, project-finance institution or similar organisation.
  • Strong hands-on financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Practical understanding of the Polish renewable project-development process, including grid connection, permitting, environmental decisions, land rights, construction readiness and project timelines.
  • A proactive, hands-on and collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively, and the ambition to take on growing transaction responsibility.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Polish.
  • A genuine interest in renewable energy and the energy transition.
Strongly Preferred
  • Direct modelling or transaction experience involving Polish BESS, PV, or wind projects.
  • Understanding of route-to-market structures, including PPAs, capacity market revenues, spread hedges, tolling agreements, merchant revenues and ancillary services.
  • Experience with project finance, debt sizing and bankability analysis for renewable energy assets.
  • Progress toward CFA, ACCA, ACA or another relevant professional qualification.
