Job location: Warsaw, Radom or Tarnowo Podgórne

Design Quality Engineer you will join the Design Quality team, part of the Imperial Brands central quality team that ensures new products are built right at the first time with the right enablers to ensure the quality is sustained.

You will be responsible for all product categories in partnering with Group Consumer Office (GCO) to ensure innovation related to formulations are designed with consumer quality requirements in mind and that continuous improvement of existing products is happening. You will work closely with other Quality teams to ensure existing product quality frameworks remain appropriate and reflective of consumer feedback.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Works closely with GCO teams (Insights, Sensory, etc.) to gain good understanding of basic consumer quality expectations
  • Conducts trend analysis of consumer complaints and has a good overview of the complaints and incidents globally
  • Works closely with Innovation/R&D on Quality related topics:
    • interprets product related quality insights and shares within GSC (Quality Compliance and Operations teams)
    • core member of all innovation projects pre/post boscard approval
  • Provides design related input to new product risk logs based on learnings from consumer quality insights
  • Actively shares and discusses product risk log within development project teams to continuously improve current portfolio, as well as ensure learning is inputted into innovation pipeline
  • Uses available consumer insights to ensure the product quality documents are consumer relevant and consumer validated (lookout project), and continuously improved
Skills and Experience Required
  • Master degree in life sciences or equivalent due to experience
  • Quality management and production system knowledge and expertise (techniques, tools, products, process and quality control)
  • Experience in manufacturing processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with statistical background and ability to practically interpret information and apply findings
  • Fluent English and ability to communicate across different organisational levels
  • Intercultural awareness, pro‑active, motivated, with ability to work under time pressure
  • Extensive knowledge of MS-Office
