JPMorgan Chase & Co. is establishing a Deal Services Billing Team in Warsaw.

The Team Lead will own the regional billing operating model and lead end-to-end billing and receivables for M&A, ECM, and DCM transactions, partnering with deal teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to deliver a controlled client experience. The role requires senior leadership in a matrix environment, deep understanding of investment banking workflows, and a proven ability to drive improvements in billing quality,

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a matrixed environment and ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong understanding of M&A/ECM/DCM deal processes and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own billing coverage for deals and set priorities, timing, and expectations with deal teams.
• Oversee regional pipeline and billing milestones, ensuring timely post-close invoicing and risk visibility.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and accelerate issue resolution.
• Identify recurring pain points and implement workflow improvements and better transparency.
• Oversee documentation and payment instruction validation to enable compliant billing checks.
• Challenge cost estimates, enforce SLAs, and address vendor or law-firm performance gaps.
• Review invoices for accuracy, tax treatment, and deal-signoff before issuance.
• Act as escalation point for client and vendor billing inquiries and drive timely resolutions.
• Maintain senior oversight of receivables and drive collections with deal teams and clients.
• Own the billing operating model and day-to-day execution with a clear RACI across stakeholders.
• Define priorities and deliver a multi-quarter roadmap to reduce friction for deal teams.
