Job summary

A public school district in Poland is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be trained to develop and implement instructional curriculum for K-12 students with Deaf/Hard of Hearing difficulties. Proficiency in ASL is critical, along with the ability to assist in developing individualized education programs (IEPs). Qualifications

Salary Schedule: Placement on District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing trained to develop and implement instructional curriculum for students K-12 with Deaf/Hard of Hearing difficulties.
  • Direct instruction using a variety of communication and hard of hearing access models.
  • Proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) is critical.
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in the area of application.
  • Highly Qualified under State and Federal regulations.
  • Certified Teacher of the Deaf to assist in the development of IEPs and supervise deaf education interpreters.
