Job summary

Kanadevia Inova AG is seeking an Automation Software Engineer to develop DCS software for EfW and RG plants. You will work on projects from engineering through to commissioning, both on-site and remotely, and travel internationally as needed.

You will build expertise in DCS templates, HMI faceplates, and integration with IT/OT networks while collaborating with experienced colleagues. A willingness to learn PCS 7 and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with DCS/industrial automation is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn PCS 7 engineering and grow commissioning skills on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver DCS software for EfW and RG plants.
• Configure and secure industrial networks and IT/OT interfaces.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing and Commissioning on site and remotely with travel.
• Review technical specifications and support tendering and commissioning teams.
• Contribute to template libraries and knowledge sharing.
